About us and our Team
Longest established jeweller in Great Malvern.
Established in 1952 by Mr Idris Parry, the business quickly established itself as a high quality destination shop. The Parry family dependents are still known to the current owners.
Upon Mr Parry’s retirement the business continued to grow and build its reputation in the town in the capable hands of David Siviter and his wife Felicity.
Then a young apprentice joined the business, keen to learn about all aspects of jewellery. As he honed his skills an opportunity arose when it was finally David’s turn to retire.
Nick took over the business in 2018 and with the help of his excellent staff has continued to evolve the business, catering for its traditional customer base, but also catering for new clients with a variety of price points, and fashion tastes.
Nick
Managing Director for Parrys of Malvern. Nick Hetherington has worked at Parrys of Malvern for over 10 years. Nick first started as an employee of David Siviter the previous owner of Parrys of Malvern. Nick achieved his Professional Jewellery Diploma with Distinction in 2017. Through his first-hand experience and continued research Nick has developed a keen interest in all aspects of the jewellery industry, with a healthy appreciation of the varying range in quality of diamonds and watches.
Having worked every role in Parrys of Malvern over his 10 years of experience, Nick has gained knowledge in all areas of a thriving, long standing jeweller. Nick is proud to be supported by a diverse range of experts who are on call and ready to help with any specialist queries.
Nick specialises in customer service and enjoys getting to know every customer, listening to them, providing the highest levels of service and helping find the perfect piece.
Sarah
Sarah is our Assistant Manager at Parrys of Malvern. Sarah originally began working at Parrys of Malvern in 1995. Sarah returned in 2017 after spending a short time away to raise and spend time with her daughter.
Sarah is passionate about utilising her BTEC National Diploma in 3-Dimensional Design & Drawing (with photography) to create bespoke items for customers. Sarah has extensive knowledge in all of our stock at Parrys of Malvern and has a keen eye for finding the perfect piece for every customer.
Sara
Sara is one of our incredible sales assistants at Parrys of Malvern and has been a valuable team member since 2021.
Sara enjoys all aspects of working at our jewellery shop, but especially enjoys getting to know you, our customers, and helping you with your purchases.
Thoughtful and ready to help, Sara is on hand for all of your queries.
Max
Max is the newest team member of Parrys of Malvern. He has enjoyed three years experience in the Jewellery industry, and looks forward to continuing to grow his knowledge at Parrys of Malvern.
Max is proficient in the majority of repairs we perform in store including watch battery replacements, watch strap fittings / replacements and bracelet adjustments and resizing.
Max is comfortable in all aspects of his customer service capabilities and is particularly prideful of his in-house machine engraving skills.
